Recently we added the Kenyon KS-4×4 Gyro Stabilizer to our rental department. This is a great gyro for a rig in the 5-8 lb range. The four gyro wheels are configured to control 3 axis of motion in yaw, pitch and roll.
This comes in handy if you are shooting video or stills from a vehicle like an airplane, boat or car.
The KS-4×4 weights less than 5 lbs and can run up to 3 hours on a fully charged battery pack. We recommend using a hand-held cage like our Z cage, but any arca-swiss style plate will mount onto the gyro base.
